New Construction Website Keeps LMU Informed

Starting this summer, LMU students and staff will be greeted with robust construction activity on the bluff, as the campus prepares for its newest addition: state-of-the-art residence halls that will open ahead of the Fall 2020 semester.

In an effort to keep the LMU community abreast of construction news and current closures, the university has recently launched a new website dedicated to upcoming projects: construction.lmu.edu. Here, students and staff can view renderings of the new residential facilities, get answers to their frequently asked questions, and stay informed in the event of parking lot or road closures.

“We recognize that construction can sometimes disrupt the daily routines of our staff and students, so our goal is that with the new website, any inconvenience to the community can be minimized,” said Christina Gustafson, Communications Manager for Campus Operations.

Construction.lmu.edu will also serve as the primary home of all university construction news in the future, and will broaden to include additional projects as they are announced.
